| OPRHP Designates certain trails as New York-Vermont cross-border trails |

Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation (OPRHP) Commissioner Carol Ash has issued an order designating certain trails as New York-Vermont cross-border trails. This designation allows for snowmobiles registered in Vermont to use these trails without registering them in New York. This allows snowmobilers from Vermont to access food, fuel, lodging, and repair services in these New York border areas without being cited for not having their snowmobile registered in New York.
